Where hope lives, healing begins.
Greetings! I am a licensed therapists with over a decade of experience in mental health. I am a licensed clinical social worker able to accept clients in District of Columbia, New York, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia. I also hold a certification in perinatal mental health.
Throughout my career, I worked with diverse populations across a variety of clinical settings, including perinatal mental health, college crisis counseling, inpatient psychiatry, and services for veterans. My clinical training includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and specialized approaches for perinatal mental health. I also have extensive experience and training in risk assessment and effectively managing acute mental health crises.
I’ve transitioned to private practice to continue my commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate trauma, grief, and life transitions. In creating, Cardinal Hope and Healing, my mission is to fosters a safe, affirming, and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenging experiences and begin to make sense of them. My work is grounded in a focus on helping clients feel informed, supported, and empowered in their own process. My background also allows me to use a holistic approach that extends beyond traditional therapy, incorporating advocacy, education, access to resources and stigma reduction.
